Buchanan Gardens has 15 accessible, newly renovated units available now!

 

 

Buchanan Gardens is currently accepting applications for newly renovated, income restricted, accessible apartments. 

 

The renovations include new kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, windows, HVAC systems, etc.  In addition, the property will have an accessible community room and play ground. 

 

To begin the process for your new apartment home, contact the leasing office for an application. The application can be either faxed, mailed or emailed back to the leasing office.                                

 

Rents

One Bedroom Rent $1,131.00

 

 

*Residents are responsible for paying their own utilities, which will include heating and cooling (gas and electric), hot water, cooking gas and electric for lighting.

Security Deposit: $250 for a one bedroom, $350 for a 2 bedroom and $450 for a 3 bedroom, up to one month’s rent, depending on credit.

Application Fee: $50 for every leaseholder over 18 years of age, $35 for each occupant over 18.

Pets: Cats are permitted.  $400 pet fee (non-refundable) and $30 a month fee per pet. Maximum of 2 cats per apartment.

  • Main entry doors to units have two peepholes, one standard and another lowered All outlets, switches and thermostats are at accessible heights, flooring in the kitchen and bathroom will be ceramic tile Carpet in bedrooms and living rooms is low pile.
  • Front approach, roll under sinks
  • Appliances have the required clearances and front controls Lowered counter heights Grab bars at the commode and shower roll-in showers VHI units will have strobe and horn smoke detector system.

Property Features

  • One ADA compliant laundry room.
  • Leasing office and adjoining community room are ADA compliant.
  • Community room will host resident services program for the property including resident meetings, various classes and seminars and computer room.
